About

MicrobiomeWorks was founded with a mission to empower individuals to take control of their gut health and wellbeing by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and tools they need to understand and optimize their gut microbiome. Our founder, Ibrahim Bamba (aka Rahim), has a background in chemical and biomolecular engineering and biochemistry from Ohio State University, as well as graduate-level education from Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, and Columbia University.

Rahim's interest in the gut microbiome was sparked in 2009 by a biochemistry lecture, which inspired him to conduct independent metabolic engineering research. He later learned about the complex ecosystem of the digestive system and the interplay between the gut microbiome, diet, immune system, and brain. With the tremendous amount of data and insights produced by microbiome research, Microbiome Works was born to carry out its mission to help individuals make informed decisions about their gut health.

We are proud to have partnered with a network of medical doctors, scientists, and researchers at Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Georgia State who are microbiome experts. Our team is dedicated to providing trustworthy and credible information on gut health and the role of the microbiome in overall health and wellness.

Through comprehensive reviews and comparisons of gut health test kits and dietary supplements (including probiotics, prebiotics, and phytonutrients), MicrobiomeWorks strives to be a trusted and valuable resource for individuals seeking to optimize their gut health and well-being. Explore our website to read our reviews and find the information or products you need to make the best-informed decisions about your health.
